ANNUAL CHURCH PICNIC
Join us on Saturday, June 27 for an outdoor worship service at 4 pm (**note earlier time**), followed immediately by the Annual Church Picnic. We’ll be firing up the grill with hamburgers and hot dogs and the fun continues with a full lineup of activities including: Bingo, our Annual Bags Tournament, Bozo Buckets, broom ball, parents vs. kids kickball, temporary tattoos, and a Kid’s Scavenger Hunt. Volunteers are needed for set up, clean up, and game leaders. Your participation makes this event special for everyone. Please sign up for attendance (a side dish or dessert) and volunteer roles in the Narthex. We hope you and your family can join us for a wonderful evening of worship, fellowship, food, and fun! *So we all worship together, there will be NO Sunday worship service Jun 28.
FAMILY FAITH CAMP & BIG KID VBS
Family Faith Camp

EVENINGS: 6:00 PM - 7:15 PM
For children ages 2 through entering 4th grade this fall. This Faith Camp is for the entire family! Bring a blanket and join us outside for stories, games, and crafts. $10 fee per family, payable the first night of Family Faith Camp. Please make checks payable to "Immanuel Lutheran Church". Big Kid VBS

JUNE FOOD DRIVE
The Board of Stewardship will be collecting non-perishable food items from June 6th through June 21st. Our theme, “Hunger Doesn’t Take A Vacation,” is a reminder that parents with children home from school may find it even more difficult to provide the food needed for their families during the summer months. Please consider donating to help those in need in our local area. Look for the donations bins in the church lobby. Download a list of most needed items. Thank you!
WOMEN OF THE WORD AND GOD'S GUYS AT THE MOVIES
Women of the Word meets on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month, September to May.
God's Guys at the Movies meets the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month, September to May. What do faith and film have to do with one another? What lessons can the characters and themes of movies teach us as we seek to follow Jesus? Men of all ages will gather to watch a movie and engage in some faith-building, encouraging discussion. ALTAR FLOWER PROCEDURES
2026 Altar Flower sign-ups are now available! Sign up in the Opportunities Book at the Welcome Center in the lobby.
We will be purchasing altar flowers from the Flower Cottage. Two vases are $40; one vase is $20. They will deliver the flowers to the church! You can sign up for the current month or the next month on the west wall in the Lobby or other months in the Opportunities Book. Please make checks payable to the Ruth Society and place in the Ruth Society mailbox D1 in the classroom across from the office. Orders are due one week in advance.
COMMUNION OFFERED on 1st, 3rd, & 5th Sundays (and preceding Saturdays).
We are now using a hybrid communion system. Pastor gives each communicant a wafer and the Elder carries a tray which is wine with grape juice in the center ring. Individual cups (wine or juice) with gluten free wafers are available at the table as you approach. If you have any questions, please feel free to talk to Pastor Aaron or one of the Elders.
NOW OFFERING GLUTEN FREE If anyone has health issues requiring gluten free communion wafers, please contact Pastor Schellhas.
